Terms & Conditions
- Scope of Work
- The company will provide services as outlined in the agreed quotation, as per drawings, and specifications. Any additional work requested by the client will be treated as a variation.
- Quotations & Pricing
- Quotes are valid for a specified period (e.g., 30 days).
- Prices may be subject to change due to material cost increases or unforeseen circumstances.
- All prices are plus VAT unless otherwise stated
- Payment Terms
- A deposit of 33% is required 2 weeks before work begins.
- Stage payments may be required generally at a monthly basis
- Final payment is due upon completion of the work.
- Late payments may incur interest or penalties.
- Variations & Changes
- Any changes requested by the client must be agreed in writing.
- Variations may affect both cost and project timeline.
- Additional charges will apply for extra work outside the original scope.
- Project Timeline
- Estimated start and completion dates will be provided.
- Delays caused by weather, supply issues, or client changes are not the contractor’s responsibility.
- The company will aim to complete the work within a reasonable timeframe.
- Additional works will increase the time line but we will always do our best to complete the works asap
- Client Responsibilities
- The client must provide access to the site during working hours.
- The client is responsible for obtaining necessary permissions unless otherwise agreed.
- Utilities (water, electricity) should be available unless specified.
- Materials & Workmanship
- Materials used will be as specified or of similar quality if unavailable.
- Work will be carried out to industry standards.
- Substitutions may be made, if necessary, with client approval where possible.
- Insurance & Liability
- The company will maintain appropriate insurance (e.g., public liability).
- The company is not liable for pre-existing structural issues or hidden defects.
- Liability is limited to the value of the contract unless otherwise stated.
- Health & Safety
- The company will comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
- Clients and visitors must follow site safety rules at all times.
- Defects & Warranty
- A defects liability period (is 12 months)
- The company will rectify defects caused by workmanship within this period.
- Warranty does not cover misuse, wear and tear, storm damage or third-party damage.
- Termination
- Either party may terminate the contract with written notice under certain conditions.
- The client must pay for work completed up to the termination date.
- Dispute Resolution
- Disputes should first be resolved through negotiation.
- If unresolved, mediation or arbitration may be used before legal action.
- Force Majeure
- The company is not liable for delays or failure caused by events beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, supply chain disruptions).
- Governing Law
- The contract is governed by the laws of the relevant jurisdiction (e.g., England and Wales).
